We fully understand how short the supply of time is for parents raising their children, let alone a child with special needs, so for efficiency sake we provide the most simple straight forward access to our services:
- Our appointments for consults and direct services to parents, grandparents, other concerned parties and the students are available on a pre-arranged appointment basis 6 days a week from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm EST. Earlier start times may be arranged to accommodate student’s needs and family needs.
- You may call in, email, or postal mail us communications to set up your times
- An initial consult of 15 – 30 minutes is of no charge to you. We can tell you within that initial consult if we can help your child and your family. Over thirty years of experience combined with advanced training and multiple graduate degrees makes this possible.
- After the initial consult and a determination is made to work with your child, the first set of appointments are made according to available appointments.
- The Adirondack Reading Center bills the cost of time and services according to family income. We do this so anyone and everyone in need can afford the best help.
- We believe children need a minimum of two times per week to make noticeable progress, so we do not offer once a week sessions.
