The Adirondack Reading Center first started therapeutic remediation for individuals who have dyslexia over 25 years ago.
During this time, it has been our experience the biggest educational and emotional damage to those affected with dyslexia is the loss of time that takes place between the suspicion of the syndrome, identification and confirmation of the syndrome and competent remedial help being provided for the neurological disorder of dyslexia.
With this in mind, The Adirondack Reading Center opened its doors to provide the most powerful proven reading method to help.
- The Adirondack Reading Center provides Orton-Gillingham services exclusively. The Orton-Gillingham Method is a proven reading method that gives dyslexic students the best chance to succeed in becoming literate, even with their neurological syndrome of dyslexia.
- The Adirondack Reading Center delivers reading services cost effectively so student’s families can afford to receive reading support services as long as they need them.
- The Adirondack Reading Center provides consistent family support through knowledge of dyslexia to parents, adolescents and adults with dyslexia.
